Notes - "After the immigrant James Trice, the second Trice in chronological order seems to have beend the James Trice who appears in the records of the early 1700s and who made his way to Caroline County Virginia by 1733. This younger James Trice must have been born no later than 1680 if we may judge from the birth year of his presumed great-grandson. Hence this younger James Trice may well be a son of James Trice the immrgrant, and if so he would have grown to maturity on his father's lands in what is now King and Queen County Virignia. Before 1722 and possibly as early as 1711 this younger James Trice had married, probably as his second wife, Dorothy Dabney Anderson, widow of William Anderson."
